A fruity dessert recipe: quartered Madarines seasoned with balsamic, vanilla and mandarin oil.
10 cl of water
2 tablespoons lavender honey
5 tablespoons of gold quality balsamic condiment
3 drops of vanilla extract
30 g pistachios, peeled
1 tablespoon of olive and mandarin specialties
1 packet of tortas
The day before (or at least 4 hours before). Squeeze the juice of 4 tangerines. Mix the water, honey and tangerine juice in a small saucepan and cook for 10 minutes over low heat to obtain a light syrup. Add the balsamic condiment and vanilla extract, stir, turn off the heat and leave to stand for 1 night in the refrigerator.
The same day. Peel the tangerines, remove the white parts and divide the quarters into 4 individual soup plates. Crush the pistachios. Divide the syrup between the plates, sprinkle with the crushed pistachios and add a drizzle of olive oil to the mandarin. Enjoy with tortas or a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or both!).
