A concentrate of plant aromas

This certified organic Haute-Provence AOP olive oil is made exclusively from very green Aglandau olives. It reveals a sophisticated perfumed bouquet with intense nuances of raw artichoke and peppermint. The terroir of Mées in the Alpes de Haute Provence, the queen region of the Aglandau grape variety, gives the olives an aromatic intensity due to its alpine and Mediterranean climate. The manual harvesting of Aglandau olives and their pressing immediately give them a Grand Cru with an intense and herbaceous personality. This olive oil can be enjoyed raw or cooked and goes perfectly with all mixed salads and Provençal cuisine.

Sophie and Frédéric are the 5th generation of the Pinatel family, who cultivate century-old olive trees in the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
The installation of their own mill in the heart of the orchards since 2010 allows them to optimize the freshness and taste of the olives pressed on the same day of the harvest. The property has 10,000 olive trees. The olive groves are located between 400 and 450 meters above sea level, the limit for olive growing, but were spared by the frost of 1956, so today we can admire very old trees of remarkable size. The Durance River has shaped the dry and stony terroir of Haute Provence, which is reflected in a concentrate of aromas.
