A concentrate of herbaceous aromas

This organic olive oil certified AOP Haute-Provence is made exclusively from very green Aglandau olives. It reveals a sophisticated perfumed bouquet with intense nuances of raw artichoke and peppermint. The terroir of Mées in the Alpes de Haute Provence, the queen region of the Aglandau grape variety, gives the olives an aromatic intensity due to its alpine and Mediterranean climate.
The manual harvest of the Aglandau variety olives and their pressing immediately give this Grand Cru an intense and herbaceous personality. This olive oil can be enjoyed raw or cooked and goes perfectly with all mixed salads and Provençal cuisine.

It is extra virgin thanks to its perfect acidity level, cold-extracted to preserve its taste and benefits, and stored in opaque packaging to protect it from light.

Sophie and Frédéric are the 5th generation of the Pinatel family, who cultivate century-old olive trees in the Alpes de Haute-Provence.
The installation of their own mill in the heart of the orchards since 2010 has made it possible to optimize the freshness and flavor of the olives pressed on the same day of the harvest. The property has 10,000 olive trees, the olive groves are located between 400 and 450 meters above sea level, the limit for olive cultivation, but were spared by the frost of 1956, which allows us to admire today very old trees of remarkable size. The Durance River has shaped the dry and stony terroir of Haute Provence which expresses itself as a concentrate of aromas.
